Hi crafty friends!
I previously shared that Scrapbook.com sent me a few of the new Halloween products from the latest Tim Holtz + Sizzix release. Well today is the day that Tim will having a live demo using products from this release. Head over to his YouTube at 12PM EST to join in on the fun and see what he and his team have created.
I created one more fun card using products from the release. This card features the Moonlight die set and the Tapestry embossing folder. First I embossed a black watercolor panel and then rubbed Black Soot over the raised areas. I then covered that in Raven embossing powder from Brutus Monroe and heat set everything. For the moon, I die cut each piece and then sprayed them with carved pumpkin, picked raspberry and spun sugar and heat set those. Once they two pieces were adhered, I grabbed a Tim Holtz stencil and used crackle paste to add 31 to the moon. Finally, I used faded jeans, picked raspberry and dusty concord to ink a scrap page and die cut the bats. My finishing touch was splatter using brushed pewter spray stain.
