Christmas Mixable Album for Clear Scraps

Hi crafty friends!

It's the season for making memories and spending time with the ones that you love. I thought it fitting to decorate an album that can be used for memorykeeping. So, I decided to add a little Christmas spirit to the pages of the Mixed Banner Album. I love the mix of chipboard and acrylic pages.

Since I am unsure of what these pages will contain by the end of the season, I chose to keep the pages simple. For the cover of the album, I used one of the acrylic pages. I removed the film and the added this beautiful corrugated reindeer tag to the front. I added flowers to further embellish this piece. I used some beautiful satin rope to tie the tag around the acrylic page-- almost like a present.

For my chipboard pages, I chose to cover those with glittery peppermint tape along the edges. I then placed 6x8 embossed mats to each side of the pages. I love the simplicity and elegance that these embossed mats add to each page.

I also added in a handmade tag from my stash as an embellishment. Some of the pages also feature a matte gold mat. I love to have a silver or gold touch when crafting for the holidays.

The back cover is simply the remaining acrylic page. I wanted to be able to see the back of the last chipboard page.

There you have my completed Mixed Banner Album. I think it is so beautiful and would be perfect on it's on. However, I think I will be adding these pages into my December daily for this year. I love adding textures and colors to my projects, so I think these pages would fit in perfectly.

I hope you all enjoy this project. Feel free to leave a comment and/or any questions that you may have.

Happy holidays and happy crafting!
