It's the Season of the Witch Featuring Hero Arts Hocus Pocus Collection

Hi crafty friends!

Today I sharing TWO cards featuring the Hocus Pocus collection from Hero Arts.

First up is a floral take on The Witch's Hat. I added darker layer of cardstock behind the hat to create a shadow. I did the same for the bow to create dimension. For the flowers, I added a coordinating Glitz ink to one layer to add sparkle and deepen the cardstock color. I used Black Acrylic Speckle to easily add splatter and popped up a sentiment from the Spooky Season Betterpress set.

For this second hat, I had a little more fun with the florals. I did the same technique to create depth with the cardstocks. I added my florals prior to die cutting to ensure that all of the die impressions were cut into the hat. I did a bit of tone on tone got the background and used clear enamel dots for the centers. The sentiment is foiled using the Spooky Season Betterpress set and white foil.
