Hi crafty friends,
Thank you for joining me today. I am sharing a few cards that I created using the new Cheerful Chirps collection from Spellbinders. This collection features so many cute birds, a fun embossing folder, and a sentiment stamp set.

The first card features Free Hugs Oscar. He is so cute and super easy to assemble with only a few pieces and dies. I used the same/similar cardstocks to die cut all of the elements for all 3 cards. You can find them listed below. The background for Oscar comes from the Ombre paper pad. It has quickly become a favorite. I added a little more color to Oscar using Worn Lipstick Oxide Ink. I used Glossy Accents on the eyes of each bird too.

The Pretty Birds and their background were die cut from more of the Ombre paper pad. Seriously, get the paper pad. The blends are beautiful and you can easily blend over them to add more color if you would like. That is what I did with the birds. I added Mustard Seed Oxide Ink in areas that I wanted to appear more orange in tone. The rope and bottom of the bird swing have effortless texture due to me using the wood veneer paper. Check that out as well.

Finally, I used the Flying High set to create this card. I die cut from the various cardstocks, not using the wood veneer this time for the branch. Each piece was assembled with foam squares when layering was occurring. Wet adhesive was used otherwise. I embossed Crystal Metallic paper using the Bamboo Screen 3D folder and cut that down to 3 3/4" x 5" panel. I then stamped the sentiment onto Bright White cardstock and anchored that towards the bottom using foam squares. You can find a tutorial for this card below.
Thank you for joining me today.
Happy Crafting,
Natasha
