Living La Dolce Vita with Spellbinders

Hi crafty friends,

Thank you for joining me today. I am sharing a few cards that I created using the new La Dolce Vita collection from Spellbinders. If you attended the Weekender last month, you already have these products.

Yellow card with a blue door opening to a sunset over water. Lemon garland and flowers frame "Hello Sunshine" text. Bright and cheerful.

I find the Beyond the Door set to be versatile and I love it so much! It will truly allow you to create something that is beautiful. There are many dies to this set, but they come together effortlessly. For this card, I chose to create a sunset sky across the water as you look out of the door. My main want for this card was to have the blue and yellow pop while contrasting one another. A little secret about the sky is that I used Ombre paper that I then added a little more pink to using Picked Raspberry Oxide ink. I also enriched the blue paper using Prize Ribbon ink.

You can find the tutorial below.

Here is another door creation, this time utilizing the flowers.

Card with pink flowers and green leaves on a rainbow backdrop. Text reads "YOU'D LOVE THIS." Background has white and teal stripes.

This card was essentially composed of elements that I die cut but did not use on the first. For the arch, I blended oxide inks (Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed, and Broken China) and then splattered water to add more texture and interest. I added a sentiment using the La Dolce Vita Banner set. All supplies will be linked below.

Card with pink lips and blue string forming "ciao" on yellow patterned background, featuring lemons and leaves, set against bright yellow.

This card screams Ciao! Such a simple die set that makes a statement. I paired the set with leftover lemons and greenery from the Beyond the Door set. I again wanted there to be a contrast of colors, so I stenciled the background in yellow instead of the expected blue. I added glossy accents on the lips to look like real lipstick.

Thank you for joining me today. All of the products used are linked below. You can find this collection available on the Spellbinders website.

Happy Crafting,

Natasha
