Hi crafty friends,

The August Hero Studio release is sure to spook! The kit includes so many elements -- even lights.

I went with a contrasting Nautical and Carrot color scheme when creating the above card using the Card Kit of the Month. I stamped and heat embossed spider webs all around and created a cascade of pumpkins. The frame is white cardstock inked with Espresso ink and then die cut. I used Splatter White to break up the color and then added a bit of tone-on-tone detailing by inking the card panel edges with Nautical ink I then adhered tiny Nautical moths into place and popped up a few bats. The final sparkles were added using the Crystal Mix of Gems.

I used the LS0825 August Layering Stencils of the Month combined with elements from card kit to create this fun card. It is a bit hard to tell, but I used Pumpkin, Plum, Nautical and Black inks on Carrot cardstock with the layering stencil. I then heat embossed the entire panel with clear embossing powder to give it a glossed look. I created a Nautical frame and stamped, embossed, and cut a spiderweb onto acetate. Again, I added a little splatter and gems for additional interest.
