Hi crafty friends!
It is officially Fall and I wanted to share some fall decor inspiration. Although I do not get to experience the beautiful leaf changes here in Texas, Fall brings cooler weather and fun activities for the family. With the season change comes a decor shift in my house. I created this beautiful decor piece the Small Shiplap Cutting Board and the Stacked Pumpkins Embellishment.
This layered creation would be perfect as shelf or tiered tray decor. When I think of Fall, the color orange immediately comes to mind. Therefore, I created this piece with the color orange as my focus.
I pieced in patterned paper to each section of the Small Shiplap Cutting Board. I wanted to keep the seams exposed. I then used distress sprays and embossing glaze to add color and texture to the Stacked Pumpkins Embellishment. From there I went in with flowers, leaves and clay pieces and created a layered focus for the cutting board.
My finishing touches included adding stain to the edges of the board and paper, as well as inking and adding art stones.
So there we have it. Tell me what you think below. If you choose to recreate this Fall decor, please be sure to share in the Clear Scraps Creative FB group and tag me.
Happy Crafting,
Natasha
