Hi crafty friends!
I am blessed to be a guest designer for Altenew this month. As such, I wanted to pop in and share a few of my makes for the release. You may have seen them during the Altenew IG Release Hop. Nonetheless, let me show you some of my favorite projects and products.
This Bold Bouquet product suit includes a stamp set+ coordinating die set for the florals, stencil set, 3D embossing folder, and dies for the larger font words on the stamp set. I love the ease of stamping and stenciling to add color to floral images. So, I chose to do just that.
I heat embossed the forals onto a panel and inked the image. I cut that down to 4 x 5 1/4, added some splatter and then stamped the "for you" and "happy." I die cut the happy out and popped that up. Finally, I layered that onto orange cardstock.
For these two cards, I used alcohol inks to create a rainbow. I then stamped over the floral inage in black ink. To finish up, I used the Uplifting Sentiments to stamp the large sentiment in Gilded embossing ink.
Next, I grabbed the Made With Love products and created a rose filled card front. I created an array or pink and ombre roses and leaves. I chose to dry emboss the background using the Tulle stencil and added pink splatter. I then layered all of my floral elements and finished by centering a foiled Essential Sentiment. Finally, I layered this onto patterned paper.
Finally, I am sharing what turned out to be my favorite card that I created. Surprisingly, the monotone nature of the card really made me happy. I used the Mushroom Garden Layering Stencil and the Mushroom Greetings stamp set for the sentiment. It truly was a simple creation, but all of the color variations make the card look like a laborious feat.
