A Little Hocus Pocus Featuring Hero Arts

Hi friends! Today I am joining you with a fun card featuring the DC327 Tricks & Treats Stamp & Cut  from the NEW Hocus Pocus collection. You can also find this post on the Hero Arts Blog.

Mouse in a red witch hat and cape holds a pumpkin mug. Yellow and orange background with candy corn, stars, and text: "it's all just a bunch of HOCUS POCUS".

The DC327 Tricks & Treats Stamp & Cut pairs with the DC313 What's Cookin'? Stamp & Cut, so that is what I used for the card. I stamped the mouse, cape, pumpkin, candy corn, stars and moon onto white cardstock and colored them using Tri-Blend markers.

I wanted to stick to mainly pinks and oranges for these images. I accented with yellow and my mouse was brown. Once all of my coloring was complete, I die cut the images out.

To create the background, I cut triangles of Canary, Papaya, and White cardstocks and then adhered them to a White A2 panel. I then assembled my mouse using foam squares to pop up the hat, cape, and pumpkin. I then arranged my stars, candy corn, and the moon on either side of the mouse, almost as though following the center seam. I also used foam to pop up the candy corn and some of the stars. I adhered the rest with wet adhesive.

I stamped my sentiment from theDC327 Tricks & Treats Stamp & Cut in Pitch Black and created a sentiment block. I popped that up beneath the mouse. Finally I added a few crystal gems to add a little sparkle.

Do not forget to check out the entire Hocus Pocus collection. Thank you for joining me today!

Happy crafting,

Natasha
