Hi crafty friends! Today I am sharing the NEW Bibi's Butterflies release from Spellbinders. I absolutely love butterflies, so I was instantly drawn to this collection.
The Butterfly Card Creator allows you to not only make cards, but could be used to make boxes, albums and even this mini book as I have made here.
I used solid cardstock from the Feb 2022 Kit to create the flowers and some patterned paper for the background and added details. I created this book using chipboard and filled it with blank pages. The finishing touches included gems spread throughout and bead dangles on the mini binder rings.
The beautiful butterfly shaker card above was created using more of those flowers from the card creator die set, as well as butterflies from the So Many Butterflies set. I was able to achieve this look by nesting the two butterfly dies to create the wing outline in glitter cardstock. I used seedless preserve on the base of the butterfly to add a pop of color. Vellum, the background embossing, and all of the shaker bits add so much texture to this card. I finished this beauty off with a foiled sentiment.
So, let me know what you think. Find even more details and a closer look at the projects here:
Thanks for stopping by!
